Party Rent Berlin – The event supplier in Central Germany
With two locations in Berlin and Leipzig and over 150 employees, Party Rent Berlin is the market-leading event supplier in Central Germany. For over 15 years, the team led by Stephan Mahnecke has been implementing holistic equipment concepts for events and combining these with logistics that are adapted to the needs of the event industry.
Events are fast-moving and complex.
The highly dynamic event market places enormous demands on the ISO-certified service provider in terms of flexibility and speed. Processes, materials and personnel for several thousand events have to be organized simultaneously.
This makes it all the more important to ensure smooth communication and cooperation between all team members. Like the lubricating oil in an engine, communication and cooperation between the different trades must mesh smoothly so that the event can be implemented successfully and on time. Nothing should get stuck or jammed.
A wide variety of data and information must always be available and processed live, digitally and centrally, depending on location and time. When Party Rent Berlin was founded in 2007, things were quite different. As a reminder, the first iPhone came onto the market that year. Processes were often still paper-based for historical reasons.
The aim was to work with the Party Rent Berlin team to develop concrete improvement measures to increase productivity and to help implement them.

What we have achieved in concrete terms
By teaching proven working practices in digital project management, team communication and the use of digital tools with the right cultural guidelines, we were able to enable 17 Party Rent Berlin team members to master any challenge in a structured manner. From the very beginning, we thought and acted across hierarchies and departments. In other words, trainees, team leaders, department heads and top management were challenged and encouraged on an equal footing and together. This approach has helped to bring digital working to life on a broad basis – including across generations – at Party Rent Berlin.
In addition to increasing personal productivity in our own work processes, we were able to create new process reliability throughout the entire organization in order to transfer strategically important developments into everyday operations. The shared vision of our collaboration “The ability to master every challenge in a structured way” became reality.
