Travel allowance
The voluntary allowance for the employee’s travel costs is called a travel allowance. This is paid by the employer.
It should be noted that as soon as you receive the travel allowance as an employee, you can no longer claim income-related expenses for travel to work.
The travel allowance includes not only the use of your own car, but also the use of public transportation. The employer benefit in connection with the use of public transport is tax-free.
