Candidate Journey
The term candidate journey refers to the path a candidate takes from the very first point of contact with a company to the end of the application process.
Here, only the process as such is described from the candidate’s point of view.
A candidate journey therefore begins with a candidate becoming aware of the advertised position. Next, the candidate must also be interested in your company and have a good feeling about your company. If there is interest, the candidate will apply to you.
The next step is for them to choose you as their employer, they are hired and the final step of the candidate journey is onboarding.
