Advanced electronic signature
The term advanced electronic signature refers to a specific regulated form of certificate.
The requirements for an advanced electronic signature are legally defined as follows:
- It is clearly attributable to the signatory
- It enables the signatory to be identified
- It is created using electronic signature creation data that the signatory can use with a high degree of confidence under his sole control.
- It is linked to the data signed in this way in such a way that any subsequent changes to the data can be detected.
